D.Omen...Subject: LoVe

http://ddotomen.blogspot.com/2008/10/systematical-cycle-of-club-love-gene.html

The Systematical Cycle Of "The Club Love" Gene.

Hi,...I'm..Me.

and I want to talk to you about..

this..

..this..thing..this curse, like..I've REALLY studied this..for years.
research - reading - watching documentaries
studying religious teachings on the subject, studying the history available to me.
which is why I believe the past is so key to the to present and future.
because..THIS type of shit, that you go through
DATES back to Abraham....or Ibrahim*
dates back..to Moses..like this is nothing new
they dress that shit up for you in The Bible to make it a fairytale
-- REALITY --
Abraham wanted to fuck Hagar
and have a son
because he couldn't wait for Sara to become fertile
if he REALLY loved her, he would've WAITED for God to make her fertile
and look what happened..? ended up with two sons
two different women. hated each other.
the first historical case of.."baby mama drama"
he had to pick and choose..and it continues til this day
BUT
with all that said
we live with it.
we make it work,...somehow.
that's how it's made for us to function.
we move on.
we find others to continue this terrible
HORRIBLE.
excruciatingly exhausting
cycle with.
..and life goes on.
it keeps the population movin'
it funds the economy. (no bailout)
which brings me to my next point..
"L O V E "
..and the IDEA of it, has been..commercialized and industry doctored.
the name for the Club, "LOVE"
is aptly put..because it really breaks down
pretty much, the stages and all that entails
this..misconstrued four letter word of fuckery.
EVERYONE is always in "it" these days
EVERYONE puts on their best
..and fronts as long as they can til it's time to go.
..they get fucked up..
..they stand and wait as long as they need to if they have to..
..hell..they'll sneak IN "it", if they can..
..has a friend that can get them in "it"..
..they fake in "it"..
"it" is one a big ass show.
money is thrown around prodigally in "it"
you drink..even when you say you wont..
..you wake up..hung over from "LOVE"
swearing up and down
you wont do "it" again because of how
bad you felt from the after-effects of
"It"
but what happens, what the fuck do you do?
-- GO BACK --
the very next week
..do the same shit and fuck up all over again
WHY?
society, expects and accepts it.
that's the norm. conform or be ignored.
it's just life.
and I want you to understand..
that whatever hurt you feel, because of the time you've invested,
the emotion you put in, the sacrifices you've made. It seems
like
it was all a waste or in vain now.
but
it ISNT and wasnt. because someone was and is watching.
they've noticed.
and THATS how the cycle continues.
you have to exert yourself.
you have to display, in order for those to be drawn in.
...That's just how it works.
you suck it up, bribe the bouncer with a $50
or
put on your push up bra and bat your eyelashes.
cuz you got to try again and hope you leave there
with someone, worth not coming back with.

that said,

see ya'll this weekend, for the celebration of HU homecoming.

I'm D. Omen.

HOPE, DOPE. & NOPE

When You're Great, It's Not "Murder"...It's Assassinate

SMH x 384179364148184681112!
ANOTHER Assassination Attempt Thwarted
When Will The Hate Stop???

(courtesy of hiphopgame.com)

A week before the election, and it appears people are already plotting to take out Senator Barack Obama. Law enforcement agents have annoucned that two Neo-Nazi Skinheads were ready to kill over 100 black people and Senator Obama.

According to the reports, the plans of the Neo-Nazi were stopped before anything happened. Their plan was to rob a gun store, and a target an African American High School with intentions of killing a majority of them. Finally they would go out and try to assassinate Obama.

These two men have been apprehended and are being held without bail. There names are Daniel Cowart, a 20 year old from Bells, Tennessee, and Paul Schlesselman, an 18 year old from Helena-West Helena, Arkansas. Atf special agent Jim Cavanaugh spoke to the AP, and stated that the plan consisted of shooting 88 black people, and beheading 14 others. As for Obama, they had "planned to drive their vehicle as fast as they could toward Obama shooting at him from the windows."

Cavanaugh also conveyed that "both individuals stated they would dress in all white tuxedos and wear top hats during the assassination attempt. Both individuals further stated they knew they would and were willing to die during this attempt."

"They said that would be their last, final act — that they would attempt to kill Senator Obama. They didn't believe they would be able to do it, but that they would get killed trying."
"They seemed determined to do it. Even if they were just to try it, it would be a trail of tears around the south."

Obama has yet to speak on the matter.

BluntlyPuts: NIGGA News

BLUNTLY PUTS:NIGGA NEWS
by Felecia COleman

Comedy Central, one of the funniest yet disrespectful stations on Cable TV lost my vote due to down right disrespect a couple weeks ago. I mean, its no surprise when I turn on Comedy Central and see South Park making fun of different races, religions, and genders but there has to be some line that we cant allow this station to cross. I mean, I can only laugh at so many “so there’s a black guy and a Hispanic in the back of a car. Who’s driving?” jokes before I take it personal. All of the Black jokes, Jew jokes, Hispanic jokes, and Asian jokes, all of them are funny until the underlying message sinks in, but recently, I feel as if Comedy Central went below the belt and personally offended me.

I’m talking about their new show “Chocolate News”. Starting with the name of the show, I already feel disrespected and as if my race is nothing but a joke. Maybe it would have been funnier on BET, but the fact of knowing that some Caucasian prick that owns Comedy Central actually allowed for the name of this new show to be called “Chocolate News” is extremely degrading. I mean seriously, is it me, or does this just seem like a way of dancing around “Nigga News”?

Second, the host of the show is David Alan Grier. Seriously, Comedy Central? He’s the corniest black guy in the universe! His career started to go haywire after Jumanji and maybe that’s why he felt it was suitable for him to sell his soul to Comedy Central. Not only is his undisputed retired comic relief a problem with him being the host, but the fact that Comedy Central hired the most white-loved black man, besides Wayne Brady of course, to take on this racist challenge makes me feel like this show isn’t meant to be for black people to laugh at Black people, but for white people to laugh at Black People. What a great representative and way to go, David Alan Grier. Fuck you David Alan Grier and your already fucked career. Not only do you make yourself look like an ignorant jack ass but you make the African American race feel like shit too. Thanks, thanks for that. Well look on the bright side. At least now you’ll be remembered for something more recent and not just seen as “oh, oh yeah, that uhm, that corny black guy on In Living Color. What‘s he up to now-a-days?” Way to boost your career and your struggling fan-base you idiot.

Not only is having David Alan Grier a butchering to the African American image, but the actual content on this show is ridiculous! I have never seen more downright racist puns in my life! There are clips with David Alan Grier referring to women as hoes, clips with David Alan Grier in a music video talking about big asses, and tons of other outrageously stereotypical jokes that I find offensive. The audience for Comedy Central is predominantly white and is it okay for Comedy Central’s only “all black” TV show to only show the negative sides of the African American Culture? There was a clip I watched with David Alan Grier disguised as a typical rapper with a big hoody and shades talking about how he was killing, stabbing people, shooting people, being shot, and being married multiple times and I feel like these are topics that should be left for serious recollection and not used as a comedy skit. Are there not already enough clueless Caucasians in the world that think all black people do is rob banks, steal cars, and make video’s? Thanks to this show, that list will be increasing.

I feel offended but more so embarrassed that there’s even a black man in the acting business who would degrade his own race like this and feel fine at the end of the day, cause I sure as hell don’t. Especially at a historical and monumental time like this. Barack Obama is about to win the presidency of the United States and Comedy Central coincidentally decides to air a Black comedy show? Fuck outta here. Comedy Central took it too far with this one, dedicating a whole half an hour to the newfound comedy in the black world of problems. Fuck you Comedy Central and your attempt to find humor in the shootings and killings of the black people I personally know and that my friends personally know. I didn’t think it was funny when friends and family of mine got shot, killed, stabbed and I don’t think its funny now that it’s on your station. Like I said earlier, its only funny until the message sinks in and the fact that there’s even room for laughter at the subject matters Comedy Central exploits makes me sick. Making fun of problems that my family struggles with as an African American household isn’t humorous and this is 10 times worse than any other racist-filled Comedy Central show. We, as a race, have to draw the line somewhere and if I’m the only one that feels that way then so be it, but this is one NIGGA who WILL NOT be tuning in to the NIGGA NEWS.

GO BARACK.

At the end.....she says Nigger............

Liz&Riley

WTF Is This World Coming To?

Please look at both videos.

SMH. Now after watching the second video is the white man actaully needed to kill off our race. Like I feel like he can go home and just let us kill ourselves. This shit is sad. Shit like this makes me ashamed of my skin color, both videos but primarily the second. They all showboating laughing and shit nobody is sayin wait maybe we should stop this (remind me of the video with lil girl and boy dancing). Where the fuck are the parents? Its back enough that Im being hated because of my skin color but to know there are plenty of african americans making easier for them to do it makes me sick to my stomach sometimes. When I see that most of the people locked up are black or most of the people on welfare and abusing it or that WE ARE DOING RADICAL RACISTS WORK by killing each other I just wanna stay in a hole and never come out. I dont know what to say I wish we could do better with all my heart but tears of disappoint fill my eyes as I realize it will never happen.

And as for my racist friend up there attempting murder hate crimes. I could type some really nasty things to say about you but I wont what you did was stupid I dont understand hating a whole race for something one person has done to you. Ignorant on your behave. This just proves that though my race is dieing we are not the only ones who need help.

Introducing....

Me! I am Chae' Nice I wont give you a whole 10 minutes of decribing myself, my personality flows through my writing.

I was on youtube bored the other day and I somehow stumbled across this guy, Shad. At first sight I thought it was like a spoof video of the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air you know how these youtubers can get carried away, remaking episodes & ish. So I decided to scope it out in hopes for some laughs. I was kind of disappointed it wasnt a spoof but I fell in love with his flavor. Check out the video.

Kenyan born (but Canadian based) rapper Shad (born Shadrach Kabango in 1982) was able to release his debut album, 2005's When This Is Over, after winning nearly $20,000 in a Kitchener-Waterloo radio station talent competition. The album was a critical hit, featuring socially conscious lyrics, and won him a deal with Black Box Recordings. His second album, The Old Prince, dropped on October 16, 2007. In 2008, Shad and his Old Prince were nominated for Rap Recording of the Year at that edition of the Canadian Juno Awards music ceremony. -Bio Taken from Imeem.

If I Only Save One, Then My Job Is Done...

I just Happen To Be Listening To The "Dope Boys" Joint Off The Game's L.A.X., when..."Travis Barker and DJ AM critically injured in deadly plane crash". Here's the article, courtesy of HipHopGame.com:

"A plane carrying six people was departing shortly before midnight Friday when air traffic controllers reporting seeing sparks. She says the plane went off the runway and crashed on a nearby road.

Federal officials say two crew members and two passengers have been killed.

Officials say two people have survived the crash and have been carried to the Augusta Burn Center.

Officials at the Augusta Burn Center say they have Travis Barker, the former drummer from the band Blink-182, and Adam Michael Goldstein, aka DJ AM. Both are in critical condition. Barker and Goldstein were in Columbia Friday night for a concert at Five Points.

EVACUATE!!!.....wait....where?

TAKEN FROM WTOPNEWS.COM

WASHINGTON -- D.C.'s new evacuation signs -- designed to direct drivers out of harm's way in the event of an emergency -- are already being met with criticism.

City leaders officially unveiled the signs Monday.

The current emergency evacuation system in the city has been questioned in the past. Right now, evacuation routes are designated by a D.C. flag on street signs.

The new plan calls for attaching a blue sign with white writing to the top of street signs on evacuation corridors. The new signs read "evacuation route." Officials say the signs will more clearly identify evacuation routes out of the city.

WTOP Traffic's Bob Marbourg doesn't think the signs will be effective.

"You get on a road, have no idea where that road is going to take you, and often that road doesn't take you there anyway. So to simply call a route an evacuation route is not going to help people," says Marbourg.

"From what I have seen of the sign, it doesn't add anything to my knowledge of how to get out of harm's way."

D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty says the plan is not perfect.

"If there are some changes that still need to be made, we'll make them."

Navigating D.C. streets is already a tricky procedure, especially for someone from out of town. In an emergency, not knowing which way to go could prove to be a fatal decision.

There are 19 emergency evacuation routes in the city that are scheduled to get the new signs. It is estimated 3,500 existing street signs across the city will be outfitted with the new evacuation route placards.

The first signs will be attached to the existing street signs along Pennsylvania Avenue.

The signs will cost the District $250,000. The city hopes to have that process completed by the spring.

JessieADORE

JessieADORE www.myspace.com/jessieadore

JessieADORE
They say she’s too smart for her own good and scarily analytical- she responds with that oh so mischievous smirk. Refusing to be swayed by worldly opinion, jessieADORE has grown to love the beat of her own drum and embraces the fact that many others may not.“I’m not here to entertain you”, begins her off-putting mantra, “I’m simply a messenger.”

This being said by a record selling singer/songwriter may come across perplexing, but that’s exactly what her debut album “The Heathens Epiphany” explains. Not attracted to false glory and disenchanted with that shiny pedestal people in the industry are often placed upon, Adore understands that what she possesses and has to offer is not in and of herself. “The Heathens Epiphany”-an introduction to JessieADORE, creates an intimate atmosphere conducive for any listener to get up close and personal.

The album certainly does not represent Adore entirely; instead it serves as an explanation for the arrival to her present place in life and spirit. With this gritty and confessional bridging of the gap between her past and present, Adore sets the platform for listeners to follow the journey into her future.Life Music is the best sound description for this genre-less musician jessieADORE provides a fusion of funk, hip-hop, soul and rock n roll strung together by insightful lyricism to form an innovative, fresh, new sound creating an element all its own. It does not duplicate the standard sound of modern music. Rather, it draws from the essence of great music past, and is glazed with imaginative experimentation, which speaks to the music lover. Hopefully you’ll love it.

McCain's VP

So.... Palin, the VP for McCain, has a 16 year old daughter that is pregnant. The media is using the Spears family, as an example to show how a young hollywood teen or well know person does with the situation. This leading to failure in other projects. So... how come she is still McCain's VP?

Also:

1. What if she was African American?
2. Why all of a sudden does he have a woman from Alaska as his VP?

Ramadan

What is Ramadan?
Ramadan  is a Muslim religious observance that takes place during the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, believed to be the month in which the Qur'an was revealed to Angel Gabriel which later was revealed to Prophet Muhammad. It is the Islamic month of fasting (sawm), in which participating Muslims do not eat or drink anything from dawn until sunset. Fasting is meant to teach the person patience and humility. Ramadan is a time to fast for the sake of God, and to offer even more prayer than usual. Also involved in Ramadan are asking forgiveness for the sins of the past, asking for guidance in the future, and asking for help with refraining from every day evils and trying to purify oneself through self-restraint and good deeds.

Fasting

During Ramadan, Muslims are expected to put more effort into following the teachings of Islam and to avoid obscene and irreligious sights and sounds. Sexual activities during fasting hours are also forbidden.Qur'an  Purity of both thought and action is important. The fast is intended to be an exacting act of deep personal worship in which Muslims seek a raised level of closeness to God Almighty. The act of fasting is said to redirect the heart away from worldly activities, its purpose being to cleanse the inner soul and free it from harm. Properly observing the fast is supposed to induce a comfortable feeling of peace and calm. It also allows Muslims to practice self-discipline, sacrifice, and sympathy for those who are less fortunate, intended to make Muslims more generous and charitable. Muslims can eat after the sun has set.
Pregnant women, the elderly, the ill, and travellers are all exempt from fasting as lack of food and liquid in these situations could be detrimental to health. The fast is also not considered compulsory in childhood (typically considered to end at puberty), although many children endeavour to complete as many fasts as possible, as practice for later life.

What Have We Gained From Ramadan?

Ramadan is a school of iman and a 'stop to recharge one's spiritual batteries' - to acquire one's provision for the rest of the year...

For when will one take a lesson and change for better if not in the month of Ramadan?

The noble month is a true school of transformation in which we change our actions, habits and manners that are in variance with the Law of Allah 'azza wa jall. “Verily, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves

If you are from those who benefited from Ramadan, fulfilled the requirements of taqwa, truly fasted the month, prayed in it with truthfulness, and strove against you soul, then praise and thank Allah, and ask Him for steadfastness upon it until you meet your death.

Be not like one who has sewn a shirt and then destroyed it... Have you seen one who sewed a shirt or thawb, so when she looked at it, she liked it. Then she destroyed it pulling a thread by thread for no reason. What would people say about such a person?! Or have you seen one who earns a fortune trading throughout the day, then when the night comes, he throws away all that he earned, dirham by dirham. What would people say about such a person?!

Feast of the end of Ramadan Month or Korite Festival in Senegal

Korite oer Eid is a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. Koriteis an Arabic word meaning "festivity", while Eid means "to break the fast" (and can also mean "nature", from the word "fitrah") and so symbolizes the breaking of the fasting period.
Eid ul-Fitr starts the day after Ramadan ends, and is verified by the sighting of the new moon. Muslims give money to the poor and wear their best clothes. Eid ul-Fitr lasts three days and is called "The Smaller Eid"  compared with the Eid ul-Adha that lasts four days and is called "The Greater Eid"
On the day of the celebration, a typical Muslim family awakes very early, does the first everyday prayer, and is required to eat a little, symbolizing the end of Ramadan. They then attend special congregational prayers held in mosques, large open areas, stadiums and arenas. The prayer is generally short and is followed by a sermon .Worshippers greet and embrace each other with hugs in a spirit of peace and love after the congregational prayer. After the special prayers, festivities and merriment are commonly observed with visits to the homes of relatives and friends to thank God for all blessings.

AfroPunkalution - Mohawks and Black Lipstick

By: Anthropoliticorpus Humaneas

Within the corners of black identity are a host of anti-monolithic sentiments. Many of these sentiments are echoed in music, hair, clothing, and vernacular. In the presence of so many ethnic notions, deviation from cultural norms can often yield one a whole lot of misunderstanding and judgement. I should know--I carry two shoulders bearing the chips of the implicit imagistic expectations of those believing that they share my racial experience. Lately, I've been on a chronic N.E.R.D fix on my mp3 player; I haven't had an appetite for anything less than a mohawk; and I haven't been able to tolerate wearing anything lighter than black (and that includes the shade on my lips). I'm generally a moody soul---so nothing should be wrong with my latest mood manifestation. Right? Well, not quite. In the age of "just do you," and what visually seems to be a nostalgic (though inevitable) return to 80s aesthetic, why do I get the "he thinks he's white" stare from all the "I'm from Anacostia, but I'm gettin' off @ Gallery Place to transfer" black folks whenever I'm on the green-line? I'd like to think that I'm just as "salt-peppa-ketchup and mumbo sauce on my fries from the Carry-Out" as the next guy; only, I prefer a pair of chopsticks (hey, it is not my fault you only know how to use a fork). And, notwithstanding an admittance of personal narcissism and a little bit of perceptive paranoia, it seems like if you're black and you look like you have an appreciation for the anarchy and angst of Marilyn Manson, you're casted the quiet glance of racial treason, and everybody assumes that you must be that long-lost-silent racially ambiguous black kid from Falls Church with too many white friends to realize that your stickered skateboard is not a real mode of transportation.

---Enter the AfroPunk Rockers---

Some five years ago, the legendary James Spooner and Ayanna Mackins created a documentary entitled "Afro-Punk: The Rockn 'n Roll Nigger Experience." The piece explores the lives of a number of black youth immersed in an alternative social culture saturated in punk, emo, and metal rock music. Exile, interracialism, dualism, blackness, and aesthetic are examined through what seems to be a vicarious third-person ethnographic lense, where notions of black-identity are invited by the challenge of inward doubt and visual negation. I saw the film way back when I was a volatile misanthrope rocking a buddhist mind, mala beeds, and a self-made Krishna sarong through Congress Heights (no one had the wherewithal to try to whip my ass for it, because the confusion was too thick). It turns out that so many of us are ignorant about black aesthetic and black music. I've never been one to believe in the racial ownership of social expression, but I do believe in crediting the origins for the betterment of our more primitive selves. Rock music (and its popular aesthetic) is black. Rock-n-roll originates from the likes of gospel and blues music, and in the 50s and the 60s, the musical idiom incorporated elements of country western music to create more of a multi-racial experience and appeal. Pioneers of this music do not include Elvis (he just replicated), but instead include artists like Little Richard, Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, and even Ike Turner's abusive ass. In my judgement, Nina Simone was one of the earliest explicit embodiments of what we know today as "punk-rock"; listen to her song entitled "Revolution" to get my drift. Later on, we see this kind of music take shape more pervasively with the genius of Jimmy Hendrix and others.

Okay---so by now, many of you are thinking "enough with the boring history lesson." Well, that leaves everything else; the mohawk, the black, the piercings, the mosh pit, and the rage. What the hell is it all about? Well, moshpits are strikingly similar to indigenous African dance traditions, in which dance circles are formed to invoke a particular diety. Some of the movements seen in moshpits are clearly West African dance; the undulation of the back, the opposite circulatory coordination of the arms, the lifted percussive knees, and the closeness to the ground. Tattoos, piercings, mohawks, erie face paint (make-up) are as ancient and afrocentric as scribes and heiroglyphs. And the rage and the dark mood? Well---if you have to wonder about that, then you dont deserve an answer.

In Spooner and Mackins' film, a more personified explanation is given for the late domination of rock music by white youth; but harnessing the dangers of black intra-racial discrimination, homophobia, heterosexism, and stereotypism is the most urgent theme screaming throughout the subtext in the film. Tamar Kali, one of the more well-known AfroPunk rockers of our time, talked about how she discovered African aesthetic through punk rock, yet endured being called a "dike bitch" and a host of other xenophobic epithets by other black people in the street. Hence, the "exile" I mentioned earlier. And I wont even mention the hideous discriminatory culture of sexual and gender identity anti-pluralism/exclusivism of the black community---that will be another post. More importantly, the documentary teaches some valuable lessons for our closed-minded black brethrens. We all need to revisit our ethnic notions before we voice them. And just in case you were wondering, AfroPunk is a social grassroots movement, one that is out to redefine the parameters of blackness and to challenge conventional norms that degrade and devalue deviation from normativity. See the film if you're in the mood, but more importantly, celebrate those who by the braveness of their own individualism are different from you. One's image is never meant to be determinative.

Some AfroPunk(esque) Artists/Bands: Living Colour, 24-7 Spyz, Cipher, Tamar Kali, Imani Coppola, Bad Brains, Nona Hendryx, King's X, Fishbone, and Whole Wheat Bread.

R.E.U.B.

Born in Ghana, West Africa, R.E.U.B arrived in the United States under political
asylum and was raised throughout much of the east coast, fromMaryland to New York. Though R.E.U.B may not speak his mother’s native tongue, his music definitely speaks the language of many. Most who first hear the rapper/producer compare his lyrical content and flow to artists such as Common and Little Brother. Listeners will also appreciate a style and diversity, as beautifully schizophrenic as hip-hop legends Nas or Tupac delivering equal parts of rawness, intelligence,
honesty, and just straight fun. Therefore, it is no surprise that everyone from hip-hop purists to industry insiders are beginning to take notice of this artist that chooses not to have a “rap name” but better suited to his business acumen and personality, an acronym based on his birth name: R.E.U.B ( Real Entrepreneur in the Underground Business of hip-hop). According to DJ Swift, “He will no doubt achieve the legendary status of KRS, Rakim, Tribe, De La, etc. because he’s real and he’s doing it right…fresh beats and on point lyrics.”

R.E.U.B lived up to his name with his 2004 debut album, Pair-a-dice by selling impressively for an independent artist with hardly any backing. In early 2008, R.E.U.B. released the remix album entitled “The Billboard Insurgence: R.E.mixed”, a verbal takeover of Billboard chart toppers with new concepts and a fresh
perspective. “I just wanted to show my fans and hiphop fans in general that hit music can be quality music. I don’t have to be underground to have something to say. I can actually take the most high profile/ mainstream songs out today, and make them even better. This album should be proof to fans/labels/journalists that R.E.U.B. should not to be overlooked by the billboard as well as the underground!”, R.E.U.B says of the album.

Now preparing to take his forthcoming album The (Black) Rapper Show to another level, R.E.U.B has teamed up with producers, Proverb and Olawale, to collectively form the three-man production team, The Clinic.

BluntlyPuts: Premature Pussy Poppin'

Premature Pussy Poppin'. by Felecia Coleman.

So I sign into Facebook and I’m doing the usual- Facebook IMing, tagging pictures, and reading notifications while listening to Carter III. When suddenly I am attracted to a certain status that looks different from the others. One of the ones that has links to another site with an intriguing caption of WOWZERS right next to it. I clicked the link expecting something like a new song on you tube to show up or a picture of some face book hoochie but when the site comes up, I notice that maybe this particular link had some significance.

And there it was. In big white letters in that blue tool box.

"WHO IS TO BLAME FOR THIS ADULT BEHAVIOR”

A video comes up and the freeze frame is this 5 year old girl in a bright pink halter top backing her lil ass on this 5 year old boy at a party. And I’m like WHAT THE FUCK!? I press play and sure enough this little girl is gettin’ it more than I ever could! I mean putting in work! And this little boy is holding her waist as the audience of family and friends are entertained by this little girl basically dry humping this little boy!

After a couple face to face humps, the girl turns around, gets her iggalo on, then DROPS to the ground on her knees and starts percolating her little body up and down! The boy then drops to the floor, gets under her ass and they are basically fuckin with clothes on I SWEAR! The family is in the background screaming “OH SHIT! YEAH!! YEAHH!” and the little boy looks up at them with the biggest cheese on his face. Then the little girl gets up, sees the responses and LOVES IT as she continues to shake it! This is followed by a bit of ass-grabbing, more dry-humping, more shimmying, and booty claps. Not to mention a standing ovation and a round of applause from the adults in the room.

This is RIDICULOUS! I mean OUT OF THIS WORLD TYPE SHIT! Like SOMEONE NEEDS TO ACT QUICK type shit! Like I CANT BELIEVE THIS TYPE SHIT type shit.

Who the hell taught this girl how to bump and grind and who the hell taught that little boy how to respond! I mean really, she had her hands on her knees “poppin her pussy“! And I just can not believe my eyes! And fuckin grandma is in the background clapping saying “get it girl!“ as the whole family forms a circle around them and cheers! Like it’s a fuckin super bowl or something! No one in the room even thought it was a problem! I’m just sitting back in my computer chair watching this shit thinking HOW THE HELL DO YOU THINK THIS IS OKAY FOR 5 YEAR OLD SHANEEQUA TO KNOW HOW TO POP HER PUSSY?! HOW IS THAT ACCEPTABLE?! I mean, this girl is giving this boy the business. In a regular situation, the guy would have had a woody by now but then I remembered HIS BALLS HAVN’T EVEN DROPPED YET!

By now I turned off my Carter III. And I realize that maybe that’s what we all need to do. Turn off these songs that only adults and teenagers understand the real meaning of the words to. We know that “lick it like a lollipop” isn’t talking about lollipops. And “I got the magic stick” isn’t talking about magic. But lil Keesha doesn’t and this is what she hears on the radio. This is what she fills her head with. That making love in a club is FINE and that it is A-OKAY for everyone to “know that’s his bust-it-baby” whenever they go around and ask about her. ITS NOT OKAY.

I’m not goin’ on hip-hop, because I’m a proud supporter most times. But this calls for immediate attention because this wasn’t just some random you tube video. This was a legitimate site. The video had WorldStarHipHop.com in the middle of the screen as if they had chose this particular video and stamped it with a link as their sign of approval.

These kids should be learning or playing video games. Not “freakin” which is in reality nothing more than a cheap imitation of sex.

So back to the original question..
.. WHO’S TO BLAME FOR THIS ADULT BEHAVIOR?

The artists.
The radio stations.
Dumbass granny in the back cheering them on.
And everyone else that promotes to kids that this music is for learning from.

The caption in the status right next to the link is very true.
WOWZERS.
Because after watching that, that’s really all I can say.

WORD ON THE STREET
Q: After watching the video, what do you think about it??? Here’s the word on the street.

"i think sex is takin over and kids allowed 2 c too damn much.

-xxDaRealOneManxx

Dear xxDaRealOneManxx,
Lmao! Agreed. But hey, you know what the say… “she get it from her mama” lls!

"omggggggggg they look like they're like 5!
&& i think that its tv and their parents letting them watching it. particularly like music videos.

" -SputnikEatsCheese

Dear SputnikEatsCheese,
This is definitely crazy! And you’re right, the parents need to use their parental controls.. Lol or at least the V-Chip!

"i think it was disturbing. . .that little girl danced better than me and i don’t think that’s fair. but it kinda freaked me out that she was like 4 and dancing like she’s like grown or something. idk it was weird for me." -AcidKnee102

Dear AcidKnee102,
I’m sure, it was weird for all of us. Trust me. And yeah.. Makes you ask yourself if the diaper was a bit uncomfortable to dance in lmao! Just kidding!

"well i believe that it clearly depicts the terrible job that some parents do in inner-city America." -bonjour Dan987

Dear bonjour Dan987,
You got that right.Something needs to be done.

"I think that is a really good topic to address because this little girl doesn’t need to know how to be doing this stuff! She’s like 5 and there is no excuse for everyone around her to be clapping along. I don’t know, maybe my parents just raised me better than that." -aLittleLessLethal:)

Dear aLittleLessLethal:),
Our parents raised us to stand up straight… not bend over! Lmao!

Love...Ignore It.....

Times are good
and then again we all have our bad times.

Love is one of those good or bad things.
When you feel it all you want to do is embrace it.
Trace every line of each moment and not erase it.
I was once in love and believed i found it again.
My elders say I don't know what love is,
But its not what they have.

I thought that if you look forward to the next day
the one before stays longer.

I tried to think of ways to say that
feelings are not always the same.
My last boyfriend said he loved me,
Haha, respect, yeah thats hard to recieve too.

When i met this new one,
He had class and a sex appeal so hard,
so hard that it might hurt to fall
.
One mistake and maybe it would end,
and I definitely hoped not.
Something about his presence was my drug.
Light up the incense and candles in the dark
and inhale.
That was my love,
The way he spoke his words
Made me stop talking.

Whenever I spoke....
Interruption...
He'd call me "
Beautiful".

So smooth with his words..
Smooth like there were no dips to his past.
He made me feel like I wanted to be part of his future,
Howard graduate.
But only thing about that is,
I follow my heart and my unwritten mind belongs to(me)

Hopefully we will make it through..
Until then,
I'm going to ignore it.

Changes

I've dwelled on this subject for about a few months. All these music artist, clothing companies, T.V. shows, and etc are all changing. Their style and nature seems to have took a total 360. For example, the music we hear today definitely doesn't have the same ambience as it did in The Golden Age of hip-hop. Artist personally change their music. For example, Kanye West has switched his style musically and fashion-wise. His beats sound more futuristic then his old orchestrated/soul beats that he had on College Dropout and Late Registration. Another is Common, his next album titled Invincible Summer, slated for a September 23rd release, is not going to consist the introspective Common that we all know and love. The beats are going to sound mure electrified and futuristic, and his lyrics are more....umm...uhh...non-spoken word. Clothing companies such as Nike SB are putting out garbage when it comes to shoes. Their style is changing as well as them putting out new shoes that don't look good. With all that said, we must all know that change is inevitable and we have to accept it. I was listening to 9th Wonder and Murs talk, and 9th Wonder said something that stuck out to me. He said that he heard Bun B say that if you take a child, sit him infront of a T.V. and make him watch nothing but BET or MTV all day, that child would be dumb. Which is true, people must journey different grounds to broaden their talent and thinking. That's why I don't pressure music artist when they don't sound the same as they used to nor do I do the same with clothing companies or T.V. shoes. If Kanye and Common kept doing the same type of beats and music, I don't think I would be interested with as I in them. Now one thing I WILL NOT accept as a change is the Disney Channel. Hell no, the Disney Channel is straight cheesey garbage. I was watching it yesterday, and I just shook my head in shame on how bad these actors are. Same thing with those stupid ass cartoons. If you have to make a spin-off of That's So Raven, then you know they are headed for shambles. Man I want Tailspin, Chip & Dale, Darkwing Duck, and all the rest of those original classics to hit the airwaves. *Sigh*, well people accept change, change for the better. That's a great way of constantly creating.

Magal de Touba Thousands of Muslim Pilgrims Flock to Touba

"Work on earth as if you will never die and obey the divine rules as if you were going to die immediately", taught 19th century Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba Mbacké of Senegal who established the Islamic Mouride Brotherhood. Today hundreds of thousands of Muslims converge on Touba, the city of Islam founded by Sheikh Mbacké, to mark the 106th anniversary of his exile by the French colonial government.Hundreds of thousands of Muslims from Senegal and abroad have converged on the holy city of Touba, 200 km from Dakar, for the 106th commemoration of the departure of Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba Mbacké into exile.

The founder of the Mouride brotherhood was forced to go in exile in Gabon by colonial rulers on 20 September 1895.

Commonly known as "magal" (pay tribute, celebrate, magnify in the local African Wolof language), the annual religious gathering in Touba, which took place early Saturday, is considered as an occasion for thanksgiving to Allah the Almighty.

"Mouridism" may be defined as an aspiration to Allah the Almighty (Mouridoulahi) in accordance with the prophet's message.

In one of his numerous writings, 'Matlabul Fawzeyni' (the quest for happiness in both worlds), Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba describes the purpose of the city which he founded in 1887. In his concept, Touba should reconcile the spiritual and the temporal.

Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba intended to have the spiritual capital of his brotherhood showing all the characteristics of a Muslim city. The search for knowledge and economic prosperity, in accordance with Mouridism doctrine, are of utmost importance.

In his lifetime, the Sheikh recommended to his disciples "to work on earth as if they will never die and obey the divine rules as if they were going to die immediately".

Touba, which under normal circumstances has a population of one million, is now hosting close to three million pilgrims from all corners of Senegal and neighbouring countries, as well as immigrant workers based in Europe and America.

In the early years of independence, the holy city was a small town in the middle of a dense forest. Today it has all the facilities found in major cities -- banks, telecommunications, water, electricity and, of course, commercial activities.

A special power line was recently installed by the national electricity company to step up supply. Special arrangements were also made to ensure adequate water is available from the city taps.
