Allow Me, To Introduce Me!

Ok, ummm
seeing as how i told Liz i would write some blogs...decades ago?
i figured why not now? She did say it could be about anythinggg. So here i go
I guess you can refer to me as "Free". I like it.
=)
Caution!: Contains profane language! Done so to convey my thoughts in a strong, yet informative matter. I will, however, censor the "n-word" for Reggie lol.
You'll love it, im sure.

So, a couple of days ago, im sure many of you know that the ban on gun ownership was lifted in the Washington, DC area. Consequently, it had me thinking about all the things that could follow, and a bunch of muthafuckas i hold grudges against. When i say that, I don't mean, someone per say, more like a group that represents one. You'll get it soon enough. Well yeah i saw on someone's Facebook status something like, "DC gun ban lifted??? it's gon' be a crazy summa!!!"; which is really fuckin sad. Because, it's ultimately true. I forgot who said it, it was on the radio or something, but they said they had a hard enough time getting guns off the street WITH the ban; so as you can imagine, who knows what crime DC is susceptable to now. I mean, i know plently of KIDS that own guns (for whatever reason), so i know better than anyone that making weapons that much more available could harbor tragic results.

Then, while thinking of that, that shit had me thinking about the youth. PSA: kids are fucking up, and even n****s my age don't seem to want to help. Even stooping to that level! The fuck? I know. And if you don't find that disturbing, that a 17, 18-year-old doesn't have their shit together, it's something wrong with you. I mean, im still young right, and i don't know EVERYTHING there is to know, but thank GOD that n****s around me have tried to help. And these are people with real problems. They've been molested, abused, shot, poor, parents on drugs, raised in the projects, etc etc. And it's a relief that they want to do right by helping me out. That's what we need more of. And Maryland, i really don't mean to get on y'all, but wtf. No offense, but i remember going out to Landover and Largo all the time a few years ago, with nothing to be scared of. All of a sudden, a n****a grow some dreads, and get a new Lil Wayne mixtape and he goes hard? NO DISREPSECT, because believe me i know for a fact that not all y'all fake like that. I realize that there's poverty and crime everywhere, especially in Maryland. But fuck, i don't appreciate the n****s that live in the suburbs, have a nice home with both parents, even some of y'all have cleaning ladies. But you step in Thai Seafood, and all of a sudden you a "savage" or a such-and-such hunnie. Bitch please. YOU AIN'T SHIT! Pardon my ignorance, but it only makes a mockery of BLACK PEOPLE. Especially black people. The ones who really don't have a choice but to carry guns in their own homes, or fend for their siblings because their parents are strung the fuck out! You don't get that?! That's a real gangsta. Not twisting his fingers up in a go-go, or getting your dreads re-twisted because you on your "08" shit. N****A FUCK YOUR 08 SHIT! Be a man/woman about yours. Stop fooling yourself. Then i see gangs get into the picture. Like, people want to start Crip and Blood gangs in the metropolitan area. You muthafuckas are so ignorant! I'm not even gonna get into it, but ima say one thing. Why? More than 95% of you don't know the history or purpose of gangs. Hoods aren't enough? I can't act like I don't tell people I'm from Sherwood area etc etc. But gangs just divide our people even more. I mean, both my brothers old as shit, like in their 30's, with kids, careers, etc. But even on the weekends they back at Edgewood on the blocks, smoking Blacks. They realize that while they're true to where they come from, there is more to life. Not just DC, LIFE. As my man Yayo would say, "im thinking long-term. These niggas thinkin' "trees", and I'm thinkin' palm trees." It just doesn't make sense how a lot of you don't make the most of these opportunities you have. Granted, a lot of you are still in the 'hood, there are still more chances for you to do great things. I believe in my people. My DC, Maryland, and Virginia n****s. It's up to you to decide. I just needed to vent. This probably won't be the end of this argument, but yeah. Im an ordinary person. Not a hoodstar, or a nerd, whatever other people there are trying to be these days lol. I'm just me. And you shouldbe thankful, because most people can't even be them to begin with.

Ellington Techies in Palmetto Florida.

LIZ, PEDRO, JERRETT, TAYLOR, JULIAN, GLENIKA.

Oh man, we were in Palmetto/Ellenton for a week working with FELD Entertainment.

Kenneth Feld, the 2nd heir to FELD Entertainment, found out about Duke's technical theatre department, and decided to help us financially, by donating 100,000 cash and 100,000 in state of the art sound equiptment.

Mr. Feld came to Ellington in February and saw Ellington's all school collabo of "The Wiz", produced by Linda Gravatt, E'Marcus Harper & Sandra Holloway. Extremey impressed, he decided to do a week intership at their huge location in Palmetto, Florida for six well deserving Tech students, who would be able to see first hand the construction of Nationally traveling Ringling Brothers 3 traveling circus', Internationally traveling Disney on Ice and Disney Live.

The American Flag is Singing....History

MSNBC

WASHINGTON - Hillary Rodham Clinton suspended her historic campaign for the presidency on Saturday, declaring her full support for Barack Obama.
"I endorse him and throw my full support behind him," Clinton said.
Clinton urged her supporters to rally behind her ex-rival, a show of support Democrats hope will help heal a party fractured by a bitter battle for the presidential nomination. As the former first lady ended her quest to become the first female U.S. president, her husband, former President Bill Clinton, her daughter and mother were by her side. Obama secured the 2,118 delegates needed to clinch the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday after primaries in South Dakota and Montana. He planned to spend the weekend at his home in Chicago. "I have said throughout the campaign that I would strongly support Senator Obama if he were the Democratic Party's nominee and I intend to deliver on that promise," Clinton told supporters in an online message late this week.

I am so happy to be alive and breathing and fully conscious on the day a woman is standing at the podium, with thousands of people standing around her, cheering, yelling, holding up signs, crying tears of joy and relief, women, feeling a sense of hope, feeling a sense of instant overwhelming support...

This is a wonderful feeling. Being able to look back in the history books that show the harsh brutality of my ancestors, being beat and broken for hundreds of years....now, one of our own is sitting at home, or in his office, watching a white woman, hand over her full support, pleading for her supporters to back him in his fight for office....the times are changing..and he sees it, she knows it....CHANGE WE CAN SEE

Hillary Clinton has my respect
Barrack Obama has my vote.

To hear Hillary Clinton say she supports Barack Obama, means...so much...to people all over the world....It means so much, to everyone effected by generations of discrimination, women, african americans, black men, white women. Affirmative Action, Racism.....

Its time for a change.

YAY!!!
What do you think is going to be the outcome of this election?
An African American president?
A possible female president??
What does this mean for the progression of America....How could we...no..WHY would we want to take steps backwards.....
